Chumbe
Island is an eco trip its part of
Zanzibar heritage as conservation area, hosting a fully protected coral reef
sanctuary and closed forest reserve. As a not-for-profit enterprise, the
revenue generated by eco-tourism on the island funds all goes to conservation management
and Chumbe’s extensive environmental education programmes with locals.
Day trips are reasonable to the Chumbe Island Coral Park. Except, a Marine Protected Area (MPA) is carefully managed, the numbers of guests on the island is limited. If you want to book this trip give us enough time before the weekend and at least two days in advance to check availability.
